Arcadis is growing! Our Columbus and Cincinnati offices are hiring experienced Project Engineers for our Civil/Land Development sectors in Ohio.

We work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive. Places impact on the quality of people’s lives. Whether new homes, shops, workplaces, schools and hospitals, manufacturing, research and development facilities, or data and distribution centers. People and communities thrive when the spaces in which they live, work, move and play are designed and managed in a way that best meets their needs.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, your role accountabilities will include:

• Work directly with a project manager to assist with the completion of construction documents for site development, water resources, and/or civil projects
• Preparation of construction documents, calculations, and reports for public or private clients 
• Experience with single site and municipal type projects.
• Experience with the development of construction documents for public sector clients including cities/counties/water districts etc.
• Lead the design effort of public infrastructure roads, sidewalk, stormwater and utility improvements 
• Lead the design effort of subdivision master plans, grading plans, and utility plans for new developments and redevelopments
• Ability to develop and mentor staff 
• Proficient skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D software 
• Working with municipalities on permits

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer 
• 10 years experience in the Civil/Land Development sector
• CPESC professional designation is an asset
• Proficient skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D software 
• MicroStation ability not required but would be considered an asset
• Ability to work well with team members 
• Good communication and client relationship skills
